Getting Married in Knox
Being a Marriage Celebrant, I have officiated ceremonies all over Melbourne and regional Victoria. But nothing makes me happier than marrying couples in and around the place I call ‘home’.
I am fortunate to reside in Ferntree Gully and if you are looking for somewhere to have a wedding ceremony or reception, Knox is the perfect place to get married.
With an abundance of Parks and Bushland Reserves and picturesque lakes, Knox has many amazing spots to hold your ceremony and afterwards avail yourself of the area’s restaurants, private functions spaces for your reception.
Encompassing 11 suburbs, Knox is also fortunate to have three historic homes in the area, that would make a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony. Ambleside Park Homestead , Millers Homestead and Stamford Park Homestead are all available to hire for your special day.
Ferntree Gully is also home to the Tim Neville Arboretum an 11-acre reserve with an abundance of different spots to hold a ceremony.
There is a lake, wetlands, boardwalk, rose-filled gardens, amphitheater, and gazebo, giving you a variety of backdrops for some awesome photo opportunities.
Alternatively, if you are looking for something more intimate, I would be happy to marry you in the comfort of my home office in Ferntree Gully.
Geoff and Jade met at the Tim Neville Arboretum and Geoff proposed to Jade there 3 years later. So it seemed the natural place for them to say ‘I Do’ in the Amphitheatre, just a stones throw from that very spot.
Geoff and Jade are now residing in Ferntree Gully, with their two gorgeous boys, Blake and Brody.
Luke and Demi, another local couple chose to have their ceremony at the Tim Neville Arboretum.
